Logging in for the first time

If you are a Leader, Rover or Venturer

If you have never logged into ERICA before, your membership number is on your membership card and your password is set to your date of birth in format dd/mm/yyyy. Please take care to enter your date of birth accurately in the above format, eg 01/01/1950. You must include the '/' between the day, month and year.

If (after several attempts), you still have a problem, email erica@sahq.scouts.com.au and include the date of birth exactly as you are entering it. The date of birth comes from the membership records and it is of course possible for these to be incorrect.

If you are the Chair, Treasurer or Secretary of a Group Committee

If Scout Headquarters has been advised of your appointment you can also access ERICA. When we record your details at Scout Headquarters you are allocated a 'membership number'. If you do not know what it is ask your Group Leader. Your number should appear against your name on the Group's quarterly nominal roll sent from Scout Headquarters.

However, because Committee members did not before 2008 complete the normal paperwork of Leaders we may not

(a) know your Date of Birth - if so, type "unknown" in the password box

or

(b) even have a record of your name and the committee appointment you hold, in which case you will not currently have access to ERICA. You will need to ensure that you complete an A1 'Leader Application Form', endorsed by your Group Leader and District Commissioner. You will be given access to ERICA when this form has been forwarded to Scout Headquarters and your details have been recorded.

If you think that Scout HQ does have your details and you are unable to log on (after several attempts), email erica@sahq.scouts.com.au.

Other members of Group Committees do not have access to ERICA.
